well, you have to admire the lengths she's going to achieve something she really wants. I mean, i get what kev says, that if she can't afford it why go to it. 2) the Brits posting in this thread using their silly British slang.  I can hear you all speaking in my head with your accents and it's cracking me up.  Especially Rosie because I've heard her speak before.  Awesome...just awesome.

I've been slowly learning to speak "rosie" for a while now.  Frickin British people feel like they have to re-write the language JUST to be different.  Sheesh.  :roll:

There are good speeches and then there are good public services.

Sack the speech writers and give the money to the NHS, social services, the rail network, anything! I'm sure we'll live without speeches. In fact it will force government to achieve results which speak for themselves rather than spin, spin and more spin. They're in power to get results not prance around in make-up and expensive suits giving patronising speeches. Blair's emphatic pauses are a particularly annoying waste of the public's time.

Tia, how much do you actually know about Labour's policies and achievements? Granted, they have failed on some things but they have also introduced some very successful policies. You'd say exactly the same of the Conservatives if they were in power now- everyone hates the government, get over it.  :razz:
