what are you're favorite musicals?

I was pretty much raised on the soundtracks of:
Phantom of the Opera
Jesus Christ Superstar
Tommy
Westside Story

and I like Cats too!

Lol, i realised this last night during dinner, cause even though I havent heard or seen them in ages, my dad started singing them and I knew all the words and could sing along.

Tommy! Wow, I LOVE that musical! I've never really seen or heard about it until my school put on the play. To this day, that is my favorite musical that my school has put on.

My ALL time favorite is Grease. I know every word, every line, every song, every character it's crazy. I've seen it oh I don't know how many times now.

My newest favorite musical is Chicago of course. I have the DVD (along with Grease) and my mom want's to take me to see it in LA maybe, so i'm looking for tickets for that.

ugh, Grease 2 sucked in my opinion. The original Grease was the best.. actually the original Movie Grease was the best. It was a play before it was a movie.

I liked the Second one also, because there were some pretty good songs in it.

So far I've seen Aida, Cats, Les Miserables, and Phantom of the Opera. I liked Aida the best, even though Phantom made me cry! I'm going to see Beauty and Beast in April with my choir, i'm hoping it will be good!

yes, it's awesome. have you seen the movie version with Elton John? lol. I think we have it... I'm going to drag it out one of these days when I have time.

aww... I love Annie too Manda! my old school did that musical and it was awesome! my current school did "The Sound of Music" which I love as well! Lol, in my old chior class they used to always have me sing the part of the boy who sings really high in "So Long Farewell" because I was the only person who could hit that note. lol. I used to be a major soprano, but now i'm a tiny bit deeper. I love singing! Which is probably why I love musicals!

My all time favorite is Phantom. It's amazing! Ive seen it three times, lol. Ive also seen Cats, Lion King, Tommy, Grease, West Side Story, Chicago, Death of a Salesman, a 1950's version of Cinderella, and Sisterella (the funniest thing ever! I LOVED it!). I wouldnt recommend the 1950's or the death of a salesman though. All the rest are great.

I am such a dork, lol. I know. But with having 2 parents who are into them too, what can you expect?
