It was a great show. I got to watch some of the sound check and meet her. I got my cd signed and took a picture with her. She did Jet Lag, You Had Me, Don't Cha Wanna Ride, Spoiled, Right To Be Wrong, and Don't Know How from her upcoming album. She was so cute on stage because she was embarrassed by the cheering. I'm definitely getting her new album it's gonna rock!

It's similar in vibe to the first one. You Had Me and Don't Cha Wanna Ride are upbeat. Spoiled is kind of like a ballad like Chokin Kind.  Right To Be Wrong is slow. It's a nice mix. If you like Soul Sessions I'm sure you'll like Mind, Body, & Soul

I love this one.  I saw a live video performance. "Jet Lag" is a goody too.

September 9, 2004 - World Entertainment News Network
Dirrty singer Christina Aguilera is set to record a duet with British soul sensation Joss Stone.

The Soul Sessions star, 17, has spoken on the phone to the Aguilera about working together in the future but won't confirm when the collaboration will take place.

Stone explains, "I spoke to her really briefly the other day.

"I was talking to photographer David LaChapelle on the phone about my video and he said, 'Someone wants a word with you.'

"It was Christina. She told me she liked my voice and I asked her whether she'd like to do something together."

Stone has collaborated with Jagger on two tracks

Teenage soul singer Joss Stone has teamed up with rock legend Sir Mick Jagger to perform a Christmas duet.
The 17-year-old Mercury Music Prize nominee and 61-year-old Rolling Stone have recorded Lonely This Christmas, a 1974 number one by glam rockers Mud.

The pair have worked on the track at London's Abbey Road studios after coming together for a film project.

Stone also sings a version of Alfie, the title song of a remake of the 1960s Michael Caine movie starring Jude Law.

Alfie, written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, was a top 10 hit in 1966 for Cilla Black.

Stone's recording is said to be markedly different from the original, swapping its lush strings for contemporary beats.

Stone, whose debut album The Soul Sessions has been widely acclaimed, became involved after Jagger invited her to work on the Alfie project.

Hailing from an east Devon village, she has been described as "a white Aretha Franklin" and has two nominations for this month's Music of Black Origin (Mobo) awards.

Jagger has collaborated on the Alfie soundtrack with Dave Stewart, the former Eurythmics musician and a friend of the Rolling Stones singer.

Jagger sings vocals on the soundtrack's key song, Old Habits Die Hard, which the pair co-wrote.

They have also composed the main theme for the movie, which stars Jude Law in the role of the womanising lad-about-London made famous by Michael Caine in the 1966 original.

The remake, featuring Law's girlfriend Sienna Miller as well as Susan Sarandon and Marisa Tomei , is due out in the UK on 22 October.

A spokeswoman for Jagger said she could not comment on whether the Stone duet would be released as a Christmas single.
