I finally got the chance to give the Charlotte Martin stuff a real good listen. Not bad. I think my fav so far is "Beautiful Life"

She's veeeeeerrrrry cool. Piano-based, lyrically-driven, wonderful music. A few of my favorite songs: On Your Shore, Limits of Our Love, Your Armor, & Up All Night.

If I must compare her to somebody, I'd say she's a bit like Missy Higgins. :wink:

Because you just got the Veins EP? And you can listen to every song on it on repeat (except maybe Days of the Week.)

Apparently she wrote a German Aria for her next full length, Stromatta. :wink:

The Veins EP and the Darkest Hour EP are both awesome. Charlotte will have a live DVD come out sometime in early 2006, so I am really looking forward to that.

I cannot wait for Stromatta to come out. Hopefully Charlotte will get a decent record contract before too long. RCA never did much promotion for her, so hopefully her next label (whether major or Indie) will do more promotion.
