i also feel this is sad... yes, true, i thought it was funny when he auditioned, we all had a big laugh- but can't we let it end there? there are plenty of GOOD singers on that show who will not receive a recording contract (who, furthermore, deserve one) but instead, we have william hung, who was REJECTED from american idol but now has become a pop icon in the us (and around the world?).
i feel bad because again and again i wonder if he KNOWS the world is laughing at him- or if he really believes that he is a good singer. who leads these people on and tells them that they should a., audition for american idol or b., pursue any kind of musical career?
