Yup, i had it too. Tia you have it a lot worse than me though. I am about to go onto a diet of cutting dairy products out completely for 2 weeks, because it works for a lot of people- no chocolate! Its going to be hard.

I'm always tired. School and stress all factor in to it.

I saw a show on tv that was all about the teenage brain, where it is in its development and how it affects our bodies, and they said that a teenager is programmed differently than children and adults. Our internal clocks are different. By nature we want to go to sleep later, and get up later. That's just how mother nature slapped us together. So it's normal for teenagers to have slight cases of insomnia and even narcolepsy since we have to get up early for school, yet still can't fall asleep until late at night 8O

Yup, there are schools in america now that start later and end later don't they? It just seems silly to expect us to get up at like 7 when we need so much more sleep. A lot of the reason people feel sleepy is so much sugar and junk food too.

If I was at school - 6am, but that's only coz it's miiiiiiiiiles away...
If I was at a local school, 8am.

thats what time I wake up mama. I still get dressed and grab something to munch on. It doesn't take me an hour, it takes me like 15-20 minutes.

but I walk like a zombie and find something to wear, brush my teeth, and comb my rag mop hair. :lol:

Oh! and I have to walk to the school bus stop, so I get to school at 7:30

I used to wear a uniform in elementary school. but it was only for like three years.

I get to wear whatever I want.

at my school people go to school with their jammies on, a lot.

mostly the upperclassmen though, because they ditch the most. so they just come to school w/their PJ's and leave early.
