Is that a word? Well if it isn't, it is now.. hah

Anyways, do you guys that are young like me feel tired a lot? I dunno why but you know I'm totally fine at school (except in 0 period, at 6:15 am, lol) but by the time I get home I am totally beat. That doesn't seem normal. And like I always get tired around 10 pm when most teens stay up till like 12 at my school it seems like. I try to stay up later to do homework but I always end up falling asleep.

Is it just me, or is it normal?

Tho it might have to do with the fact that I get up at 5:30 am because I have to be at school for 0 period English at 6:15 am when it is still dark in the morning.. but I get home around 1 pm, sometimes after 1:30 pm, and I am so beat. blah I hate it lol

You're not that weird. . . I get home from school at like hmm quarter to 3 and everyday except for monday - I sleep. I am so tired.  Dead. I can afford this because I don't really do anything  after school (except monday agian) untill 5pm or later. . . of course that 2 hour nap throws off my sleep schedual and I'll stay up untill all odd hours of the moning . .and then I'll have to get op early again fir school, just to repeat the same thing.

*sigh*

I feel tired because I should feel tired.  During the work week I lose out on sleep.  Sometimes I'll sleep less than four hours a night, sometimes six.  Then all the minor social obligations keep me up on friday night, sometimes all night visiting people.   At which time I crash and sleep half of Saturday.  The reason I don't sleep enough is because I sometimes work 12 hours a day starting at 5 am and have too many interests which keep me up at night studying, reading, and thinking.  Including studying and composing music...  forget it when I try out different chords and chord progressions on my $20 dollar walmart toy keyboard.  The hours pass too quickly and 5 am comes around early.

Yeah, I'm always tired and I always have these bad bags under my eyes, it sucks.
I normally get up at 5 or 6am (depending whether i have 0 period that day or not) and go to sleep around 11pm.
It takes me a long time to fall asleep, so even if I try, I normally can't take naps. Some people just fall asleep unintentionally, I never have, i don't sleep unless I really try... and if I'm thinking too much (which is hard to stop) i don't sleep, lol.

when it was track season I would wake up, go to school, go to track, come home and pass out. I thought wow...I'm too young to be so tired. I wondered if there was a problem with me...I have no idea still. I think I am going to try vitamins.

Look at this weird-o who stole my sleep habits.

Why steal sleep habits?  You should've gone for the jewelry.

I'm always tired. School and stress all factor in to it.

I saw a show on tv that was all about the teenage brain, where it is in its development and how it affects our bodies, and they said that a teenager is programmed differently than children and adults. Our internal clocks are different. By nature we want to go to sleep later, and get up later. That's just how mother nature slapped us together. So it's normal for teenagers to have slight cases of insomnia and even narcolepsy since we have to get up early for school, yet still can't fall asleep until late at night 8O

Of course everyones different, so this might not hold true to everyone, but i know that's how it is for me. I get up at 5:30 every morning and usually go to sleep around 11, but dont' fall asleep until later. I usually don't work naps in because i have to do something after school, but i sleep alot on weekends.
