LOL!

We have some...unusual...slang words
Some are also rather crude so I'll refrain from mentioning them so I don't get banned ; )

Whoa! Dang this thread got a lot of replies, I thought I was the only one! Haha

Yeah, I don't do much after school.. tho I must must must catch the Ellen show ;) then after that I usually sleep or come on here if I'm not too tired.

The good thing about my classes is that I never get any homework anymore that is due like the next day so I always have the weekend to do it which is cool because I'm way too tired after school. It is like, you've been in school for like 7 hours, then you come home, so would we really wanna do more work? hmm nope.. not me, I'd rather sleep! lol

And about the P-Jay's thing.. yeah people at my school wear them to school also haha. I dunno how they can get away with it. I probably could but eh, I wouldn't feel right.

I'm always tired. School and stress all factor in to it.

I saw a show on tv that was all about the teenage brain, where it is in its development and how it affects our bodies, and they said that a teenager is programmed differently than children and adults. Our internal clocks are different. By nature we want to go to sleep later, and get up later. That's just how mother nature slapped us together. So it's normal for teenagers to have slight cases of insomnia and even narcolepsy since we have to get up early for school, yet still can't fall asleep until late at night 8O
.

Yup, there are schools in america now that start later and end later don't they? It just seems silly to expect us to get up at like 7 when we need so much more sleep. A lot of the reason people feel sleepy is so much sugar and junk food too.

there are, but not near where I live. The Super (the guy who pretty much makes all the decisions about how the school system runs) wants us to stay until 4!  8O  Not even start later, start at regular time and stay an extra hour! It'll never happen though, too much opposition. But i wouldn't be opposed to starting later and staying longer.

Yes, starting later and staying longer! I would love that! Always thought what it would be like.. ahh but then I would miss Ellen, and my other shows but who cares! Staying at school later would give you an excuse not to do anything and tell ur parents ur too busy with homework since we have an extra hour in school ;)

(I didn't feel like reading all that...)

Me?

Mine starts at 7:30.. well if you have 0 period like me it is 6:15 (while it is still dark out in the morning!) & it ends at 2:30, but again if you have 0 period like me it ends after 5th period at 12:54, unless you only have 5 classes like my friend who gets out after 4th period which is 11:51.. & if you stay for lunch sometimes like me 1:28.

You think that is confusing? Oh go to my school for a year, & you'll be like "WTF is going on with the schedule!?"

Mine can start at 8:30 and end at 4:35- thats my longest day. But equally i have days that start at 11:35 and end at 2:45 (short day!) or a half day on Thursdays.
