Good lord, you'd think they would be nicer.

I think we should somehow form a protest to the gas prices.

Yeah, isn't gas like 3 dollars now??? Crazy.

Oh and my school tried the protest thingy, I didn't do it, but a lot of students and teachers walked to school with signs and stuff. I think that was just last year. My friend got in the paper

I don't remember if it did much tho. :?

I have a feeling it isn't high prices from OPEC as much as it is a weak American Dollar.

Would someone who actually has a clue about economics (not me!) please chime in?

Gas here is up to $1.56 a gallon.

When I went to LA last week I filled up there and it cost me $34. I could have flown one way for $39. But the whole rent the car thing etc. not sure which is actually cheaper. But the price has gone down a little. Thank goodness.

Here I think it's about $2.19

It has been an adjustment to get used to these outrageous prices in general compared to the South. But I am still glad to be here.

yea, but everyone needs gas (unless you don't drive)...So they could probably put what price they want and it not have to depend on supply and demand...

the news said we have the highest in the country. think it was like $2.21 (just checked) last week. hooray for me !!
