I don't really play any instruments.  Not really.  I can mess around with a piano/keyboard instrument, but I don't think that really counts.  I was in choir  during high school and much of my religious life, and actually wrote a song I actually shared(as opposed to ones I hadn't ) in class for a final grade in high school.  I was able to get a 'B' for the song, and the admiration of some of the chicks in the class. ;)

The english horn is a very interesting instrument.

My oboe teacher has an english horn, i've played on it once. it's sound is absolutely beautiful. unfortunately, in australia, it is extremely rare and extremely expensive.

I have played clarinet on occasion.  Right now, the only clarinet I own is a bass, and it's in the back room somewhere stored away in its case.  It's probably going to need a good cleaning and polishing if ever I get it out again.  I miss the sound, though.

THis kinda out of topic but still is... anyway, I won 3rd place in a piano competition in my music school! Yay! I thought I was going to come last but I'm so happy!  :D  :D  :D
