how can you idolize her? pfffft.. sillinest
I think whoopi trys so hard to be funny, though she really isnt :?
I think she looks up to her because she is a female role model who is successful.
Sometimes I think the whole female sex has a superiority/inferiority complex. A generalization, yeah....but I still ponder sometimes. Just because she takes off her clothes doesn't mean she doesn't respect herself. As long as she is herself and does what she feels is the right choice for her. She seems not to have a problem with it. What is the right way to display your sexuality? That is only one way. Some women feel liberated that way, while in other ways they feel like they are not. As long as they are not forced or manipulated into it, I see no problem. Sometimes I wonder if it is male sexuality is the one which is really suppressed in some ways, but not in others. Think about it. I find male and female sexuality is interconnected. If you don't liberate one they are both suppressed in one way or the other. In the fictitious book, "1984," it states something to the effect that female sexuality is the most easily manipulated. That is the real danger in my opinion. But the main character's sexuality, a male, is also supressed as well. Basically, in the book pent up sexual tension is manipulated toward the ?ten minute? rage.
Anyway, the display of female sexual desires are connected to male sexual display and such. I feel sexual ethics are somewhat polarized to sexual display for women and sexual desires for men. Do you see what I mean? But it wasn't always like that. At one time, I'm sure, all sexual display was forbidden, physical display and display of desire.
