I have been biting my nails since I was little. The dentist always tells me not to because my teeth are weak from having them bonded, but I can't stop!

I used to bite my nails alllllll the time. My mom used to buy this disgusting nail biter polish and put it on my nails and I would forget and it would taste like ass.

I do.  I have it down to a science.  My nails are pretty strong and I don't have problems with them.  I can bite them completely straight just as if they were cut by a nail clipper.  I can't remember when I last used a nail clipper.  I can also tear off my toe nails with the grain parallel to the end of my toe with no problems either.  And that is the way I groom my nails. lol

I can bite them straight too it just hurts my teeth now. Plus, it looks unattractive. What chick wants a dude who has his hand in his mouth all the time.? The fact that it's very germy...um well whatever, what isn't? That's not why I stopped.

I don't bite my nails. I've never seen reason to...while I have many odd habits, none of them are really "nervous" habits. Of course, that means that I have to use nail clippers if I don't want to look like the crypt keeper, and so far that part of hygiene is not yet a habit... 8)

I don't do it all the time.  Like in the privacy of my own place.  You can always clean your nails with a nail brush.  It is supposed to be a bad habit, but I don't know; I just do it because it is convenient and I never started a habit of doing it with a nail clipper.  I also noticed when I use a nail clipper my nails become razor sharp.

I do, but not when I'm nervous. And I don't even know WHY I do. Just a bad habit. When I get nervous, I play with my nails. :D

I don't put my fingers in my mouth, and I have never in my life chewed on my nails.

Its just plain gross and silly. I can't understand why people do it.  :?
