On her second album, Vanessa, 23, unveils an edgy goth side, singing about insomnia, suicide, and paranoia.  There's only one love song on the album-think that's a reflection of her, um, odd relationship with Third Eye Blind's 40-year-old frontman, Stephan Jenkins?





YM always bashes V and Stephan.
But at least they featured her in the mag.

odd, eh? whatever. i can understand why it would be odd to be in love with a beautiful, poetic, charismatic and charming musician.  :roll:

I think they think it's odd because Stephan is like, a lot older than Vanessa.  I think it's kinda kooky too...but oh well whatever floats their boat!

And then she bad-mouths Vanessa Carlton, a real musician who writes her own music. What is with you people! Can no one in my generation appreciate good music, or resist what the media tells you to like? I don't even think rap should be considered music. Am I alone here?
