I saw The Villiage yesterday.  I got more scared than I thought I would.  Last night I must admit I had some trouble sleeping thinking about "the creatures".  I really liked the movie..very twilight zone-ish.  I thought it sent an interesting message.

I saw it tonight and it was not as great as I expected. It wasn't even that scary. I wanted it to be more scary. But it was good.

Please tell me how that blind girl went through the woods and barely fell? Or didn't get poked in the face or eye? That was just ridiculous.

yeah she had the stick but it doesn't help for stuff that is mid or head high,  you know? I do remember falling in the hole that was nasty. But I said she barely fell. I think she should have been falling every few steps but that's just me.

if i remember correctly, somewhere in the movie, someone said that she has a really good sense (a 6th Sense    ) for everything else since she can't see.....i could be wrong though

i saw it......can't decide whether i like it or not :-P it didn't really seem to have a plot...i mean, i got the message of the story....but there just wasn't a solid plot line to really follow. some parts were weak, and just not well explained, imo.

I think her father said that when talking to the elders.
because they yelled at him because she was going alone and she was blind and I think thats when he said she had a good sense...?

I saw it on Saturday; I enjoyed it. It wasn't quite as scary as Signs, but it still managed to deliver some great suspenseful moments. I didn't at all feel as emotionally attached to the characters as I did in Signs, but like Signs, The Village was fairly thought provoking. I think it's outlook, though, was more grim.

Hello and welcome to the movies of M Night.

i've only ever seen signs by him, and i honestly didn't find it scary at all :-P in fact i fell asleep during the middle of it, woke up a half hour later, and discovered that there wasn't any progression in the plot line.

so i guess i won't be seeing his movies anymore
