She was found guilty, and all she is being punished with is the minimum allowed sentance for such a crime. She's wasn't even convicted of the true crime she commited insider trading but she was convicted of lying.

She's a bitch. Ha. Infact, I'll just copy/paste from my LJ entry from last night.

Martha Stewart is such a whinning bitch. I hope she gets the shit beaten out of her in jail. She said to Barbara Walters that she's "worked for 62 years!" ... she is 62, that's dumb. Now she is claiming that she is being targeted b/c she is a female and a successful business woman. Then she started saying something like "I'm on TV 21 times a week for my successful, wonderful, award winning, emmy winning, blah blah blah TV show."

SHE DOESN'T STOP WHINNING!!! The judge went totally leanient on her giving her THE MINIMUM ALLOWED SENTANCE! And she kept bringing up all the 'good' things she's done over the years, and IT DON'T FUCKING MATTER! She commited a crime and things you've done good in the past don't make up for it! Just as if I killed someone, but said I went to church my whole life! (which neither is true, haha)

WEll, the actual sentance is only half her punishment.  THe other half is her company being mangled by her lost reputation.

lol! minimum sentence for minimum brain capacity i guess. yes. m.s. did get it too easy. and if she is going to whine about her t.v. show problems, she can just broadcast new ones from her cell- "cooking with jailbird martha!"  :twisted:

My god! She commited a crime, she needs to be punished no matter how nice she is or how successful her company has been. Celebrity's should NOT get special loops around the law just because they are celebritys!

Insiders trading is wrong! :P although is it done everyday...they just are proving a point...silly really...everyone just wants to see perfect martha put behind bars...please. She's going to an upscale prison where she can play tennis and swim and talk "housewares".
