NEW YORK, July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- With women comprising 60 percent of undecided voters* in what appears to be another closely contested presidential election, Lifetime Television is launching an array of new non-partisan initiatives as part of its public education campaign -- "Our Lifetime Commitment: Every Woman Counts" -- to empower women of all ages and diverse backgrounds to become part of the democratic process as voters and candidates, including special events at both the Democratic and Republican Conventions. Efforts at the Democratic National Convention include:
MONDAY, JULY 26TH

To honor the winners of Lifetime Television's 'Future Frontrunners' essay contest, co-sponsored by Comcast, The Boston Globe and JAM'N 94.5, Lifetime will host an instructional war room designed to encourage young women to participate in the political process held at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government. Winners are high school junior and senior girls from cities in the Boston area, such as Cambridge, Roxbury and Natick. The Future Frontrunners will later tour the convention floor at the Fleet Center.

i went to http://www.lifetimetv.com/shows/tvschedule/thisweek_out.html and there's a blank spot at 8 pm wed. and 10. it doesn't say what's playing though...
but that's before she plays... hm

one thing i've always liked about Vanessa is her involvement and political stance.  It doesn't matter to me what side she takes, the important thing is that she's out there being an advocate, unlike so many other performers.  Anyway, if they don't air the performance (i hope they do) I'm sure there will be pics from it.

True, could be worse; for no apparent reason, though, she seems to be the same sort of democrat that my mother is, rather moderate...

As far as parties go, I am closest to Libertarian. I'll take a Republican over a Democrat and a Democrat over a Green.
