actually no, i know you're not.  i didn't actually look to see who started the thread and thought originally it was Ghisy posting on the o-board but i never go there so i really would never know who was posting what.  Just me not paying attention on to little sleep.  i fixed my post :)

my point was, this topic was always on the top of the o-board, i was waitin for it to show up here :)

Hehe. Well at least I have a nice little comfy section of the boards for it to live in now. I won't feel so bad about bumping it in a section for 'other musicians'. I'm not promoting it anymore on the vcmb .. don't want people to get fed up with Vanessa hehe  :)

Hehe. Thanks Gina! Well the more people hear her the better. I don't need thanks.. I just want as many people to appreciate her as possible. As it now says on the site.. she's going to be releasing her debut album in a few months and she needs support, which means a fanbase! She's certainly very worthy of all the support she gets. She's a very talented singer / songwriter and is releasing her first album on her own without a record company doing the hard work for her. She's paying for the recording time, sorting out the mastering, pressing of CDs, advertising and distribution all on her own. This is the sort of stuff you don't have to worry about when you're with a label, but staying unsigned will give Vanessa a lot more control over her music, which is so important to her. I think she deserves some serious respect!

Anyway. I'll shut up now. I went into a little rant mode for a moment :D

I've done all that 3 times now, so best of luck to her :) It's very difficult, but also very rewarding (as she will find out as soon as she releases the album).  I've seen the threads for her but the site is always really slow for me for some reason, and I'm on a cable modem. I'll check it out again and dl some songs.
