Did someone really "leak" Harmonium?

Something weird came to mind when I heard Private Radio, i've heard it before.  It was at the 4/27/03 show.  Me and Katia snuck into the warm up rehearsal and she played maybe like a minute and half of Private Radio, it was a lil different but had the badha bah in the beginning thats how i remembered it.  I'm soooooooooo glad it made the album!

Anyway, I think that the leak for this album will be sorta downplayed. I mean... a lot of the people who buy her albums are people who like her music. That doesn't necassarily mean that they get on the VCMB or this forum. It won't make newspapers, it won't make MTV News. I'd say only 1/100 of the people who buy her albums are NESSAholics or people on the VCMB. So, if they don't get onto the internet to regularly check her site and forum, I don't think they will even know that it's been leaked.

Maybe this will force an early release like with all those freaking hiphop albums that get leaked.

Plus, with the leakage, I know a lot of fans aren't going to be concerned with buying the album right when it comes out, which means lower first week sales.   BnN debuted at 5, I just think this leak hurts her changes of surpassing that.

I, on the other hand, plan to be first in line to get the CD regardless, but I know a lot of people aren't freaks like me

I think people will still buy it....doesn't come with that DVD??  people would buy it cause it comes with that....

Assuming the public cares about that... If they're not really familiar w/V they could probably give two shits...

Personally, I'm glad I did get the leak because I'm not really that impressed by this album. Hopefully, in the US release "Papa" and "CLV" are dropped and some of the other songs are retooled.

It was ready to be released a week ago Sept 21, then label pushes it back 2 month for what they think will be better sales strategy which in truth hurts the CD more than helps (its up against Brit & eminem for fuck sake). CD was done, put it out. So instead the leaks are put out on time, while we wait for the CD Nov 9th.

I agree with BV on this one. Why push it back so much??
It was inevitable that it was gonna leak sooner or later before the release date. Leaks always happen nowadays.
I'm always impatient, so I downloaded the whole thing already. Haven't listened to it yet but I will do it in a few.
I don't feel guilty at all, I'm buying like 3 copies of it (both Japanese releases w/ and w/o the dvd and the US one) and they are already pre-ordered.

i deleted the thread on the o board to make people happy.  Cant do anything about the other forum though.  Lets just be reasonable, the album leaked, we get to hear it, its not that bad.  Im sure sales will do just fine, its worth the money, and i know im buying it

I know the feeling.  I am going to wait until the CD gets released or streamed (with authorization) to listen to the songs.  I am tempted to seek out the songs that may not make it onto the US release, but I will try to hold back b/c IMO I feel that is the right thing to do.

just by using google i have found 4 places to download the full album in mp3, ogg, wma, and rma format.  So deleting the thread was really pointless
