Quote from: "Grakthis"
Kerry voted to go to war UNDER A SPECIFIC SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES that did NOT HOLD TRUE.

Kerry said "Go to war IF all other options are used up and IF we have the support of the rest of the world and IF our intelligence indicates that Iraq is a threat."

It was up to Bush to decide when those "IF'S" came true.

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal,
murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a
particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to
miscalculation .. And now he is miscalculating America's response to his
continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass
destruction...
So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real."
- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA)

looks like deep down in his heart, Kerry felt the threat was real, and probably would have made the same decision as Bush though

I didn't leave it out.  That's the way I found the quote.  :D

Anywho...I've voted, done what I needed to do.  If Bush loses the election, I'll just be praying that Kerry doesn't fuck anything up and is able to make the right decisions, and stick to 'em.

Whichever canidate wins, will need a lot of prayer from this nation to make the right decisions.

hate to break it to you but your mom is full of shit.

Resorted to calling children's mum's nasty names now? Oh BV, i'd love to say i expected more. But i don't.

He attacked her position not her :-P

-Kev

He didn't say, "what your mom said" is full of shit, he said.. "your mom is full of shit."

cha?

That's because "what your mom said is full of shit" doesn't make any sense. In the context of Afterglow's post, you can't (in good conscience) take his comment as refering to anything other than Afterglow's mum's position that a vote for bush is a vote for war.

:-P :-P :-P

No, because you don't understand the concept of a learned behavior.
