It's my first day here, and I think it's WAY better than vanessacarlton.com. The people here are so much nicer, and this site is so much more organized.

These sort of comparisons are just petty and are a disservice to fans in my opinion.

I love Nessaholic's more advanced forum software.  The sticky posts put lots of useful information in an easy to find location.  Using the board is extremely easy compared to the other site.

Vanessa's "official" site on the other hand has the advantage of being just that, the place where she posts herself.  Yes its old software and thus has little moderation control, but people there seem to be just as helpful.

I use both equally, although I post more on the other.

I agree. I didn't really make it for a comparision, even though people tend to compare the two sites.  I made it as an honest attempt to see what people think of the site.  You can actaully select a "1" for everyone to see you don't think the place is so great. And then post why!  Maybe I need to change the title next time because it is kind of bais for a poll.  It is basically a copy of one I made earlier this year with a dated title.  I'm sure the admin is on pins and needles right now because I never tell them when I'm going to do this.  But honestly it shows us where we are.  If it comes out like last time it shows us we are, on the whole, doing ok.  And with such an open poll it shows we are really doing excellent because anyone in the public can register and select an option for the most part.

At it's current state, a Seven.

Not that it's current state is bad, it's just dropped 2 or 3 spots since earlier. We've been getting new fans, and most of the times, new members are cool, and they're fine, but recently, some of the new people have been bothering me to the third power. There also seems to be a lot of fighting going on. That's stopped recently, but in the last month or two, it got pretty bad.

I do not want you to comment on my comments. THESE ARE JUST MY FEELINGS.

I dunno...I sort of agree with Nagy on the whole fighting thing....but now that I think of it, that's not the boards fault...most of the fighting is takin' place over the elections coming up and it's not fair to take that out on the board...the fighting is stupid and childish, I know this mainly cause of what went on between Andrew and I last week....

If I could, I'd change my vote....I acted to quickly there after readin Nagy's post....sorry for that....

all in all it's good site...like Emily said, no site is perfect, but this is pretty close...
