What's a great anti virus program (that doesn't make my pc really really slow)?
I've tried searching the forums for a thread like this, but the only ones that came up were pretty old, I think they're newer programs/versions now

Are you willing to part with any cash? Or do you need a free one.

Best free one that I've come across is AVG

http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_index.php (click "download" at the top and then click on "AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition download" from the list)

I had done this yesterday, but kept getting alerts that the version was too old or something
I have been using it for a while, want to try some thing else :)

Hint: The best free anti-virus software you can get is Linux (or another *nix, like BSD, if you swing that way). I've not had a single virus, adware or spyware sinse I installed it ;-)

Si, how you been, girl?

Try Avast! anti-virus. I used to use it before AOL started giving away McAfee for free
