so.. Celine is back and in Vegas for three years performing for thousands of people...

Some people like Celine, some don't... i for one think she has an amazing voice. There are very few people that can touch her vocally and even on one of the VH1 shows i was watching today, Cher said she would never go on stage with Celine again as there is no competition.

Until earlier, i had forgotten about all her earlier works from 94 and 96 but she has really had an amazing and impressive career. When you think of Celine, you think of the Titanic theme and how it was played sooo much -- but could anyone have done that song better?

Her discography is amazing, from her Celine Dion album, to The Color of My Love, to Falling Into You (one of my personal favorites)... and now her new CDs with All the Way and A New Day has Come...

Overall she seems still very down to earth, she did some huge tours during her career and I don't think I have yet to see a bad performance from her... she can harmonize, sing solo... it's very impressive.

If you aren't doing anything tonight, you should check her out on CBS Live in Vegas... I think it'll be a good show for sure, and hey, those of you that like "J. Timberlake" he's hosting it :-P

I think that's kinda cool -- i mean... she in no way needs the money.

I think she just does it because she is asked, it might be good publicity, or she is looking for something to do.

It shows she doesn't think "commercials" are beneath her.

What about random performances with Divas, and the Frank Sinatra tribute where she performed All The Way? She does so much... it's cool

"It's All Coming Back To Me" and "the Power of Love" are two of the best songs ever recorded.

I do like her, she has a kind of stigma which means people daren't admit it when they do. i think she has an amazing voice but i think her revamped image is well to be honest, horrible. Hideous plastic surgeory but i love her anyway! heheh

I loved the straight long hair look -- i'm not really feeling the short hair.

but she can work it fairly well, just not my fav

I am hoping to go see Celine in Vegas. Some say why? But yes, she has an amazing voice. I saw her in 92 when she was opening for Michael Bolton, she used to just stand there and sing which was fine but. Oh yeah she was at Wango Tango last year, ahh, so great!!

I love "Unison" and "Celine"...that cd is so great. I love "Water From The Moon," "With This Tear" "If You Could See Me Know"...it is a very romantic album, but also good for a broken heart, you know that moment when you have a pity party, dark room, candles and wine....

so...I was wondering if anyone has seen her show in Vegas. I am going next week and I started to read a review and it sounds so amazing!! I stopped reading cause I want to be surprised. I am going with someone really cool too

so I have been getting ready for my concert on Wed. by listening to all my CD cd's. :lol: and I forogt how many great songs she had!!

I know, I know, most people either totally hate her or they like/love her.

I have a feeling this is going to be the best concert I have ever been to and I have been to a lot. I am kinda scared that I think that cause I feel my expectations are going to be too high and it not be all that everyone says it.

I wonder if she lip syncs? I mean the same show every night has got to get old and your voice tired. I guess it is like Broadway and I know she is a pro and can handle it...I hope. I will let you know.

Did I say I was excited? :razz:
