I am truly SHOCKED Janay is still around. If it's pity voting that's just ridiculous because it is obvious she does NOT have enough experience onstage to be the Idol. You can't barf onstage at the Super Bowl... Or even look like it. She needs to be much more seasoned.

I just caught up on the latest episodes and we're up to 8 girls and 8 guys left from the final 12 girls and final 12 guys.

I'm still rooting for Carrie Underwood: I'm sure she's gonna go far in the competition! I think the judges were harsh with her this week: her rendition of the Janis Joplin song wasn't that bad in my opinion. She had more stage presence and felt more comfy than usual last night:

Lindsey Cardinale isn't bad but I feel like she needs to express herself more on stage.
I still like Amanda Avila too but she needs to pick better songs I think.
As for the guys, I like Anwar and Mario who are really good singers. Constantine is cool but kinda overrated I think (because of the rocker/cute guy thingy).

Mario is a tool.
Personally I think the judges didn't consider the fact that Carrie OBVIOUSLY sang the Faith Hill rendition of the song and not the Janis Joplin version. That being said, she did that version justice. She was trying to imitate Faith rather than Janis.

ahh ok u guys must be an ep or 2 ahead.....we found out the final 24 tonight. it continues on wed and friday.

we had 3 eps of it this week and 2 next week possibly 3....I think they're trying to make us catch up to you guys :lol:

there was one girl I liked but I dunno if she got thru or not, I thought it was the blonde chic who was one of the last 2 girls to find out but I didnt think that was her name - she was like 16.....coulda been her.. i liked that big girl too, the older one....but her group was told its time to go home when they were in the 4 rooms

Everyone was very good tonight. I'm thinking that the two to go might be Travis and Scott (even though I'd rather have Anthony go, because I like Scott). At this point Anwar and Nikko are locks to make the top 12, and Bo most likely is too. Mario and Constintine are pretty much there, too... so that leaves the other 3 guys vying for one spot :?.

Carrie is from my home state, Oklahoma. Everyone here is routing for her, but I hate country music, so I dunno...she def. has that countryish sound going on.

Anyway, I'm thinking about signing on with her manager. That'd be coooooooooool.

Amanda started the show off pretty good I though...just with an odd song.

Constantine is too much of a fan favorite, and plus he isn't as bad as Federov...but to each his own.

Travis I agree on...

I'd say Travis, Federov, Janay, and I'm not too sure which other girl...should be going home tonight.

I didn't have Vonzell making it to the top 12, but she's been pretty good over the past few weeks, so if she made it to the final 12, I wouldn't be surprised at all..

Constantine was on friggin Elimidate the other day. He's such a camera hog.

Janay should go twice for her performance yesterday but since she can't I hope Mikalah does.

oh...but anywho...atleast he can sing.

I expect mikalah to make it to the next round...she won't win the competition...but she'll get enough of the votes to keep her around
