ha ha.  i HAVE missed school to go to VC concerts... but it is just not possible now... I've missed more than 3 weeks of school as it is from being sick...

Yeah, the first time she came through my state, there was no way I could break away from what I was doing, so I pretty much just had to sit by the radio.

I had to make a few agreements with my wife so I could go to the Nashville concert.  But the fact that I would be needing to take off on my first opportunity to see Vanessa Carlton predates our marriage, so it was a "pre-existing condition" of sorts. 8)
