Amazing time and an amazing show.  She's still coughing a bit but her voice was right on point.  I got to the venue about 5, second in line.  Then Mellie and Gina got there and we spent about 2 hours in the freaking cold and rain.  We heard her sound check, she did Winter, CLV and Annie.  A woman from one of the local websites took pictures of fans waiting in line, not all of them are up yet, but look at #11.  The link is here: www.albany2go.com

Finally got let in at 7:45, Carey Brothers came on and did his bit.  Gotta say he was nice to look at but I was bored.  The place was full, I heard over 200 tickets had been sold and I am sure there were more walk-ins.  It was a great crowd, not too loud but not deadly silent.

Really great stories, she was in a really funny mood last night.  The piano was a little out of tune and she didn't realize it until halfway through the show.  "oh this piano is out of tune.  There was a piano tuner here for like 4 hours... (starts to play and then says to Mark) oh no, is he here?"  He wasn't but it was so funny, then she said "It sounds great anyway..."  She swore a lot before CLV,  Mark was trying to tell her something as she moved to the Rhodes, which was not to swear, but she didn't figure it out until too late.  Then there was a small metal box attatched to the underside of the piano, and there was a green light on the display screen.  She stopped in the middle of one song (don't remember which one, Rinse maybe?) and asked Mark what the Hell it was because the green light was annoying her and she wanted to turn it off.  All you hear was Mark's voice on the sound system "That would be very bad!"

Meet and greet after was ok, you had to buy a copy of Harmonium to get the pink wrist band to stay inside after the encore and get in the line.  She was at a table just signing, Mark said no individual pictures.  She told my friend Cole she liked her necklace.

All in all a wicked fun time, can't wait for Turning Stone!

I don't know what else to add minus the fact that I was sooo happy that she played "Annie" and my all time favorite "Rinse"... I met some super cool people who were sitting behind me, and Nikki and I told them to come join nessaholics.com.  She sounded absolutely amazing, especially for still getting over her cold.  Nikki pretty much told the whole story but... I must say she was hilarious, she said she was doing good with not swearing much last night... though of course she was haha.    Anyway, it was an amazing night, I was oh so happy to see her and mells and nikki and everyone else!  I'll post my billion pics that I took as soon as possible!

*next up, Verona!!*

I knew I was going to have that depression, too, especially since my memory is not good at recalling sequence of events.
That's why I took my video camera.

I sooo wish I was there, but I am totally convinced I will never hear her play Annie live.  Though I am trying to see if I could perhaps get to that show that is at that casino... you are all going to that, right?

I'm really trying!!  I'm looking up buses, but there doesn't seem to be a bus to that place, and I have no idea where the closest bus stop would be... meh...

aw yeah G, that guy was a sweetheart.  I hope he does join!

Emmy, there's got to be a way to get there, it's a really popular casino.  I can try to look up information for you.  You might have to bus into Syracuse and get a connecting bus there.
