about CLV, they were the newest live lyrics that she's been singing. I believe emmy, or someone else, asked her why she was singing new lyrics, and she said that she likes to switch things up, and that her managment made her change the lyrics for the cd. she said that she had no control over it - she had to.
um, that doesn't make sense?

Say you say me is the way it is on Harmonium -- she only changed it to the "I'm at your feet for always and forever more" in SF last year (that was the first known time).  Was Vanessa asked about CLV or perhaps ordinary day?  Because ordinary day was changed because of the label and she has started performing it the original way while touring...

agh my mistake - that wasn't for CLV, it was for Private Radio (i believe, i could be wrong, and if i am i apologize. i can ask emmy about it next time she is on), i'm sorry

actually i think she was talking about Private Radio, lol.  We only caught a snippet of that she was saying, Carly was the one who asked her.
so she was commenting that she changed the lyrics to private radio for touring because the label wanted her to or she changed them to the version that is on the CD for the label?

need answers! ;)

ok, what she meant was that the way she's singing it on tour is the way she originally wanted it.  But label pressures etc made her do what is on Harmonium.

ah ha!

well that is very lame.  I wonder if that was the 1 thing she mentioned a long time ago that if given the chance she would change on Harmonium.

well i certainly prefer it with the "new" (old) lyrics as opposed to the version on the CD.  Sometimes labels make stupid decisions.

IMHO, Vanessa's label really don't have a clue with what Vanessa's fan base likes or prefers.  It is customary for them to have their "finger on the pulse of the fan community" and it seems they have their finger up their ass instead.

I think the image just got misproportioned somehow.  Everybody looks a little more "smushed" than normal.  Let me see if I can mess with it.

It's a little pixelated, but the proportions are a little truer.
