Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I just posted on the Stevie Nicks/Vanessa Carlton thread but in case you don't make it there, I'm Marissa, 21 from NJ and apparently, I follow around a band of "people as old as me" < /mom quote>. I'm a HUGE (no, seriously...13 shows in the past two years huge) Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks/Lindsey Buckingham fan (and Vanessa) so before Harmonium came out and I found out Lindsey would be on the album, I was stoked. Now i'm completely and totally elated to know Vanessa and Stevie will be sharing a stage.
I've seen Stevie twice this year in Las Vegas (she played Caesar's last month) and just recently saw her with Don Henley in Philadelphia. I'll be attending the concert tomorrow night in Hershey Park and then am calling it a day (my bank account is happy about this) with Atlantic City and some Vanessa Carlton at the end of the month. Hope all of you attending the Stevie/Vanessa shows have a great time. Even if you're not a huge Stevie fan, I promise you're in for a real treat!
Other than that, i'm a disgruntled salon coordinator and college student currently working towards a degree in both Public Relations and Political Science with the intent of either a job in broadcasting or the music industry (why Political Science? I'm not sure either). Aside from my aforementioned obsessions, I'm infatuated with Catherine Deneuve and all things French, I love History, love English and could sit and watch BBC America and the Food TV Network all day long.
