[discussion]tonight was so good! some roadie gave me a free 6th row ticket which was sweet cuz i pretty much showed up with no money hoping to get in free.. lol.. vanessa looked beautiful in her long gold dress. the best part: she did a NEW song. she didnt say the title of it though.
of course i was there early and no one was there yet so i just decided to sit there and wait to listen to soundcheck. so im sitting in this hallway alone for like 2 hours and out of nowhere i see vanessa coming with 2 other people. i was embarrassed cuz im sure i looked like a loser sitting there all alone by the door haha. vanessa came up to me and this was pretty much our convo:
v: "hi how are you!? have u seen stevie before?"
me: "no, does she do fleetwood mac songs?"
v: "yeah she does!"
me: "good. im just waiting to hear soundcheck, not stalking you or anything..."
v: "no itz ok it was so nice to see you again!"
then she left cuz the other 2 people were holding the door for her. i felt so stupid lol. i wish there were other nessaholics there with me! booo.

right after ordinary day she said "hi im stevie nicks. haha.. im vanessa carlton." lol... and during atm right after the riff before she starts singing she goes "yes.. im THAT girl." the new song is soooooooooo good! she mentioned that she might mess it up cuz shes still working it out. other than that it was the usual stories between songs! awesome show!!!
p.s. my only complaint is that she didnt do "the one."
