I was looking in the store, and john mayer has all kinds of CD's.  Michelle Branch has a new look (well its not new anymore, but it is still diferent from the very first Spirit Room).  Yet I can't find Nessa CD's except BNN.  I can't find her singles (yet there is an ATM advertisement at one store, but they don't have the single).

Someone should let them know WE WANT MORE NESSA!

you can't find it because it's SOLD OUT, if you goto the Virgin Mega-Store in times square in NYC you'll notice all her singles are SOLD OUT. Which is a good thing in a way =)

I have to agree a bit on that about her record company... they've done nothing to promote her here at all. So sad. You can't even find ATM singles, cos they haven't been released, and they've done nothing to give BnN some radio airplay. Nothing at all.  :cry:

Sold out is good in some ways, cos people have bought all the available copies, but it's bad in others cos if they stay sold out it obviously means the record company don't feel they should press any more copies of them as they don't think they will sell, which is bad.

You can't even find ATM singles, cos they haven't been released

There are 5 different versions of the ATM single to my knowledge, there was 1 US release which is pretty much sold out everywhere you look, ATM is also over a year and a half old so your not going to find the single as easily as you use to be able to. When I worked at Borders books and music, I worked in the music department, I remember I ordered 80 copies of the single for the store and within a week they were sold out, I even posted about it on the other board. Right now "Pretty Baby" single is floating around here and there, if you can find one, I checked Virgin and they were sold out currently.

I mean released in Spain. I checked back at the time and ATM was nowhere to be found. Doesn't surprise me cos people don't tend to buy singles here, so many of them are not even released, but some CD shops do have singles and I looked everywhere for it. Just not available. I know they have been released in other places, I got mine when I went to the UK in July, but in Spain, promo and distribution has been almost non-existant, and who's to blame but her record company?

I mean why can't they make more singles?  I don't live any where close to NYC, so I couldn't go look for it there...I also can't find the Pretty Baby single, I mean she is good (well duh, I wouldn't be here if she wasn't) but her being sold out here is kinda unbelievable for the simple fact, any time I mention her name I get comments like:

"She plays piano? I thought she played guitar"

"Oh you mean that girl the with the guitar"

"Oh that piano chick that looks like Michelle Branch"

"She sounds like a dying cat"

"She is cute what does she sing?"

"Oh that song is awfu" *then person does bad impression of PB or ATM*

"Well she is really good at the piano, other than that, yuck"

And yes, I have heard more, but I won't post that.
