So I got the Wicked vocal/piano book (I'm seeing it live Nov. 23! woo). It has the piano accompaniment with the vocal line.. so it's kind of hard.. haha. But I'm trying! This is what I've gotten so far. It's really bad, I even skip a part and don't finish a phrase, but whatever.  :razz:

haha. Oh I know, 2 of my friends have seen it already (one saw it in NYC and one saw it in Chicago) and they've told me all about it.

i think i have to buy the book :D
since there are 2 versions of it - this is not the one called "vocal selections", right?

lol thanx. And yes you do have to buy the book. Make sure you get the one called Vocal Selections (vocal line with piano accompaniment). That's the book I use, but I arrange it to how I want it to sound so that's why it's a little different than the music. But that book is the music that is closest to the pit piano part.

I'll have to post my most recent version of it... I can play the whole thing now. yay

Hey I've heard some of wicked too cause this touring group called the young americans came to our school and did all these workshops with us and then performed a load of stuff, including bits from Wicked.

Anyone else heard of the young americans or had them come to their school??? They were amazing!

Cool! I love Wicked! I went up to NY about 3 weeks ago to see it. It was amazing. Defying Gravity is my favorite song in it and I'm learning it myself on the piano. I'd love to hear your version, but the link isn't working for me.
