The beer you have in America hardly counts as an alcoholic drink!

Neither does British beer.  As far as alcohol content goes, the only country that gets to be snobbish are the Belgians.

That proves you know SO little about English beer. Would you like to come to the pub up the road from me that serves no beer under 10%?

My bf and I in Neuschwanstein. You can tell there's a slight ;) height difference there - tiny me, huge him. And that funny looking bulk on his stomach is the camera case

Hey Nerea!

Is that where the castle is, or the name of the castle?

That's the name of the castle. Hmm actually, now that I think of it we weren't exactly on the castle, the picture was taken from the patio in front of the smaller castle next to it (Hohenschwangau). The nearest village is called Schwangau but the town people know the castles by is Füssen, a few km away

Rosie.... Americans love british beer.  Myself included.  My favorite beers are almost all British.  I doubt there is a British beer you can name that I haven't tried.  But I am telling you, the Belgians have BY FAR the highest alcohol content of beers in the world.  A healthy % of Belgian beers cannot be classified as Beer in the US because their alcohol content is too high.

Just because one niche pub somewhere has a list of high alcohol content beers doesn't suddenly mean all British beer is high in alcohol content.

The Dutch are maybe the only other country that can make a case for liking beer as strong as the Belgians.

Awesome costume ideas!  hope it was a fun Halloween.
