Who is the inspiration behind "Who's to Say?"

Out of curiousity does anyone know who the inspiration behind Who's to Say is? Or is this Nessa's version of "You're so vain"?

EW EW EW EW! Don't you dare compare any of Vanessa's music to that crappy song. The music really sucks and the song is obviously about him. It's sooo stupid.

It's probably about Stephan Jenkins.

I would say its about Stephan  because of my experience at the TLA.

At this performance, her mom and gwen were right behind us. I kept looking at them out of curiousity, because at that time, I had never seen a picture. Anyhow, before Who's To Say started, her mother had this awful face on and Vanessa gave her a mean glare (which at first I thought was meant for me, being the self centered person I am)....

Anyway, that's my opinion on that....

I think that was obvious with its inclusion on Target's Songs In The Key Of Red

I apologize.  I was using the effect that song had on the overly curious minds of America not the song itself.  There is a major difference between Carly Simon and Nessa, the former is an artist.

That's interesting. Makes me think Who's To Say is probably autobiographical in some way.

It's such a good song. I play/sing it for my friends on my piano and they love it.
All I have for the moment, is a song to pass the time

Yeah that was cool part.  That part of the lyrics is really good too.  I love it.
