Quality over Sales of course.

If I wanted to listen to songs that are made to fit in with the other, then I'd listen to someone else.

Vanessa has a unique talent in which she cuts all ties with what's out there today.

I don't care if she becomes an indie artist and plays for herself and her fans.

ALTHOUGH

I would love to have quality AND sales

I prefer quality over sales but I wouldn't take anything against her if she came out with something that sold more albums.  I think she garnered alot of respect from harmonium who know what is up artistically.  I think we all know this isn't a passing hobby for her but as career.  As a career you have to watch the money otherwise greedy people who have a say in the business lose respect for you because you are not holding up the monetary end of the artistic business.

Without actaully quoting what he actaully said, mind you, I'd like to use the same type of arguement Ron Jeremy used on what really makes a good bj(another industry) on what makes a interesting musician(music industry):

Anyone can give...erm...I mean write and perform songs but once the cameras stop rolling they stop too.  While others could care less if the cameras and spotlights happen to be shining on them or not.  They love playing, creating, and performing.  Everyone in the industry has to do it if they want to get paid.  They have no choice.  They can do outside promotions for sneakers, clothes. or whatever, but it is not regularly required like writing songs.  They could be doing any other business as far as they care.  The second they don't have to actaully be creative, they are out of there, rushing out to cash their paycheck.
But people who like writing good music?  They enjoy taking you on an imaginative ride.  They'll actually take the time to write a great song then present it to people with with a personal touch.  They really like expressing themselves through art.   It is because they really dig it!

I think we know what kind of of musician V.C. is.

I'd say sales over quality because even V's worst quality would still be incredible!!!!!!!!! :!:
