Although I did get a kick out of the thread full of fake stuff, here's a few things that I find to be pretty interesting:
1.Guys with one testicle - Napoleon & Hitler (did anyone know that?)
2.The first tomato ketchup was sold in the U.S. as a patent medicine.
3.Bayer (aspirin company) created Heroin as a brand name for cough medicine. It first came out in 1898 from synthesized morphine and had a huge advertising campaign. Heroin was also used to "cure" morphine addiction, to send babies with colic to sleep, and just as a pain killer. By the 1920's New York City had an estimated 300,000 heroin addicts.
4.George Bush (senior) was the first president seen throwing up on TV.
5.Gerald R. Ford used to be a male model before becoming president.
6.More than 35,000 Americans have insurance against being kidnapped or being eaten alive by aliens.
7.4 popes have died while in the sac
Anyways, theres a few. Anyone have others?
