She was the winner of the 2004 Pantene Pro-Voice competition. Wasn't Vanessa apart of that? Anyways, I was just browsing through myspace artists & found her. She's pretty good, I love "Alive" & "Miss Invisible" is good too, kinda sad though.

she's signed to hollywood records now too. hopefully this doesn't mean her record will take 10,000 years to release like some of their previous artist releases have...

Yeah the second song you mentioned is really good. And wow, she just sent me a MySpace comment & said she's working with James Blunts producer & I LOVE James Blunt! How awesome & so random considering I just started getting into him.

So her Umbrella cover has been played a few times on the radio station 98.7 for So Cal that I always listen to. now theres like 3 people who sing umbrella, rihanna, mandy and her & i'm surprisingly not sick of it yet haha

anyways, check out her youtube video for "stupid for you" its an original song & very piano driven. She reminds me of Vanessa in it a lot. go to her myspace to see it :)

This is crazy. This lady posted a bunch of her performances and has become a youtube celebrity [http://youtube.com/mariedigby]. She just did covers & original songs that just blew me away. Now, she is releasing an album April 8 "Unfold".

my friend and i were having an argument about who's more popular/well-known, marie digby or kate voegele. and i insisted kate is more well-known. don't get me wrong, i LOVE marie, but kate was on one tree hill and is signed to myspace records so you see her face every time you're on myspace. and she has 184,000 friends whereas marie has 26,000. hmm.. what do you guys think?
