I thought it was pretty awesome. I'm a musician but I've never recorded anything, so I wasn't really sure EXACTLY what goes on, so seeing the process that's behind making a record was really cool. And it was sweet to see her do the vocals. Kind of funny, though. A couple of times they only saved ONE word! Haha. Plus SJ is a total perfectionist so they went through everything infinity times before he was satisfied.

Okay before everyone gets super worked-up about the videos, I failed to mention that Vanessa is NOT in them. It was really dark in the studio (what is with her and being so anal about lighting?! She turned them down while we were there!), and we were on the other side of the glass.. It was about getting the MUSIC. So the songs are there (parts of them) but V is not. That's just how it happened, sorry to disappoint.  :?

I was wondering, when they recorded PYHOM did she sing "shine down for us to see" or keep the original lyrics?
