Do you think the Dixie Chicks were ahead of their time, needed to shut up, or you don't care, concerning their "We're ashamed that the President is from Texas" rant.
Why don't you come on over? Stop making a fool out of me.

I would like to point out, not everyone hates Bush.  I wish they did, but they do not.  I would also like to point out, they were not ahead of their time...I did not support the war either.

But I voted yes because I like the Dixie Chicks.

I like the Dixie Chicks, and I applaud the testicular fortitude they had saying that, especially knowing how we country fans can be.

I don't dislike the president, and I'm neutral on the war, but like I said, I'm glad they decided to express their opinion instead of keeping silent.  :)

Every time that I post something, why must I come back and rephrase it later?

How about this then:
The majority of the people who have taken polls on George Bush in the United States of America have voted against him, therefore, we conclude that the majority of people who have taken these polls do not like him.

They were ahead of their time, or else there wouldn't have been a backlash. Bush had a decent approval rating then, but the people who didn't like him weren't saying anything about it.
Why don't you come on over? Stop making a fool out of me.

they were only ahead of their time in that they publicly said it. I never supported the war and can't believe it took this long for the country to realize how things would go. I voted no because I thought that the troops are supposedly fighting for their right to say that.

That's exactly what I meant by being ahead of their time.
