Pride and Prejudice!

Wasn't as good as the BBC 6 hour long version though!

I saw Cujo last night. It was the most enormously overrated waste of my life ever. And the ending trumped The Cutting Edge for the worst in existance.

I really liked Emily Rose! I thought it was pretty good; you won' t leave the theatre thinking it was a waste of money. There was a lot of court, it takes up about %70 of the movie but the actual exorcism stuff that they show is pretty neat.

Oh and I saw House of 1000 Corpses today. If you like horror it's good. I loved it, personally. I guess that makes me kind of sick, lol. But from a filmmaker's prospective, it's awesome the way he experiments with film styles.

It's been a very "animated" weekend for me: I've been catching up on old Ghibli animes I haven't seeen.

- The Cat Returns: it was really good! Despite the character design I didn't like at first but it grew on me as the movie went on. I defiinitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys smart animes.
- My Neighbor Totoro: it was cute but it kind of lacks a real story in my opinion. But some parts were funny and Totoro himself was hilarious.

I saw Corpse Bride last night. I liked it. The animation was beautiful just like I knew it would be, especially the final scene. Honestly, I don't think it was as good as The Nightmare Before Christmas, but if it had more songs, (and better ones at that) they would be even. And I think they could have taken the story with the villain a bit further. But other than that I loved all the characters and the story.

I also saw Corpse Bride. It was very cute; not one of Tim Burton's best, but still very enjoyable.

I watched City of God the other day, mainly because Vanessa recommended it in one of her posts. It was a pretty good movie and I recommend it to anyone, too.

The Lost Boys

classic...although Corey Feldman's acting in this made me laugh so hard. he was a little over the top.
