you unintentionally hurt someone who is a best friend... and you cant do nething to make the situation better? :cry: nothing... right? i just cant stand feeling so helpless........

There is ALWAYS something you can do to make the situation better. You just have to figure out what that is.

well... this person told me theres nothing i can do to make it better... even tho im trying my best to make things better

I'm sorry hun, that really sucks. But i think that if this person really was (or is) a true friend, she or he will come around and realize what a great person you are! And if not, then it's their loss!

Yeah... it is hard to give specific advice without knowing the situation, but the best thing you can do now is just be a good friend and try to be there for your friend... but also give them some space if they want/need it, because if you force yourself on them they will just want to pull away more...
