I don't really know, but maybe they just wanted to make it as real as possible.  Without all the glitz and such.  But that is just a guess.  I think it is really cool.


This song needs the rhythm section to really groove(I'm guessing it's Abe on drums again).  I don't have a problem with the performance apart from that.

Yeah, I've noticed that other songs like A Thousand Miles, Pretty Baby, Ordinary Day, maybe White Houses are more dependent on the band or at least the strings section.

lol, just because you're a fan of someone doesn't mean you're obligated to like every single thing that they put out. i'm sure vanessa appreciates people telling her their real opinion on her material rather than the glazed over "omg i love it" opinions.

i personally like the song a lot, but i'm well aware there are others that don't and that's fine. it's their opinion. i'm sure they wont stop supporting vanessa.

oh, and i really don't think vanessa and irv are dating. they just have a really really strong friendship aswell as a business relationship.
