I feel the same... Since I first heard the song it keeps floating in my head... I love this more than Home (though I loved the chorus of Home...) but Fools like me... It is definately my second fave Nessa song... It's so beautiful.

That songs is a sad one for sure, vocals are so sweet... So much passion and emotion within them... And the lyrics... So perfect...

I  :heart:  it more and more each day...

It's amazing. I don't know how she could release nolita fairytale while there are so much better songs on the record. I mean nolita fairytale is cool but this song blows me away :D

Ok, so I haven't really picked out any songs lately and I'm kind of shabby, but I figured out at least the basics of the beginning of the song. I don't have sheet music software and I can't easily describe the way it's played, but if you know the chords and play around with it you might get it. Also, feel free to correct me. When she starts singing the verses it's soooo deep that I couldn't make it out :(

Left hand: C/G, Ab/Eb, Bb/Eb
                C/G, Ab/Eb, G/Eb
                C/G, Ab/Eb, Eb/Bb^
                C/G, C/G, C/Eb (The last two might be Bb instead of C)

Right hand: C/G, C/Eb, Bb/Eb
                  C/G, Bb/C, G/Bb
                  C/G, C/F, Eb/Bb^
                  C/G, C/G, C/Eb

Umm, the left hand and right hand lines are played together obviously :) The note that she keeps hitting between them is the Bb.

Well, to be honest, I thought that you might not speak English as your first language, but I think I understood what you were trying to say. People who speak English as a second language sometimes say things a little differently than a native speaker would.

Vanessa cries when she sings "My Best"?

I don't think it will be like "Afterglow"; before anyone knew about "Nolita Fairytale" Vanessa said that "My Best" could be the first single, so I guess it's a more radio friendly song.

there have been a lot of potential singles.. there was the promosquad thing with this time, everybody thought HOM would be, vanessa said my best, a girl who sang backup for the album thought it was supposed to be heroes and thieves, and now it's supposed to be nolita fairytale. lol
