Has anyone noticed that Vanessa's been incorporating the melody of the vocal line within the piano accompanyment in her songs lately? I first noticed that with Hands On Me, and in the clip of Home you can hear the notes  of the melody she's singing in the piano too.

I usually really dislike it when artists play what they sing, but it works well on these songs, especially Home.

It's just a style change in her writing that I've noticed.

Sorry for the double post but... you guys are all probably going to think I'm on crack or something... but the clip of Home just makes me think of "When You're Alone" from Steven Speilberg's movie "Hook", and I love that movie because it was a big part of my childhood when I was a kid, I was obsessed with pirates and Captain Hook. lol

the "some people live in a house on a hill" part may sound weird when you read it but i heard HOUSE at the 3eb concert at Nokia and those lyrics really worked

yes. I left my recorder in Buffalo so I had my friend upload a clip. He is on dial-up so he did not want to do some huge thing...
