Nah she clearly said because it was too long, not because she was wearing it

This is going to be my senior year and the first year ever that our school has resulted to wearing uniforms!
I am not happy with it. I feel that you should be able to express yourself freely and one of the ways in doing that is to dress independently. I feel as if we're being categorized into one group and I like to be looked at as an individual.

You're a minor so you're not entitled to express anything.  Get over it.

Am I supposed to take that as 'don't complain because adults won't listen to kids' or taken literally as 'your opinion doesn't matter because you're a minor' ?

It doesn't really matter how you take it because the results are the same.

Your opinions don't matter because you're a minor, which is why adults don't listen to you.

You do not get a say.  You accept what you're given and you deal with it.

That's not always true. My mom wanted me to get a BMW 328i convertible but I wanted a Mercedes CLK 350 convertible. So I threw a tantrum and I got the car I wanted. So minors do have a say sometimes!!   :)

LOL awesome.

Minors don't get their say? Now that is the single most discriminatory thing I've ever heard so far. It sounds like you're actually agreeing with that. Then again, nobody's listening to this, so why bother?

Returning to the topic, we don't have a dress code. We wear itchy plaid uniforms instead, and an all-white version of it during the days we have Mass. D:

Just a dream, just an ordinary dream as I wake in bed. And the boy, that ordinary boy-

Or was it all in my head?
