Guys...help me with this one... :razz:
My ex-boyfriend is insisting that she isnt Indie....he says she's rock!
And i am insisting that she is Indie or Classical Pop Rock...not just ROCK!

i wouldn't say she's indie either, sorry.

i thought she had gone down that route when i heard the snippet of "nolita fairytale" though.

i'd say she was more pop-rock ish...

Yeah shes not indie I don't think very much. Be Not Nobody and Harmonium are sometimes referred to as rock on some music places and stuff shes like pop rock.

you're both wrong.

She's a classically trained pianist/singer songwriter.

That's probably the best way to put it.

but on her albums she doesn't play classical music. she's piano pop/rock, in my opinion.

There are a few things wrong. Firstly, Indie isn't a genre. That's just bullshit. She plays pop music. Whether you like it or not, get over it.

Now that  Ive cooled down a little and i started to actually think about it....I AGREE WITH U 100% !!! :D :lol: :lol:

He said she's a band...and i was like NO!!!!
She's a solo piano artist...
and he goes NO SHES ROCK!

being a band doesn't have anything to do with rock...right?
And on her myspace she is described as jazz/pop/rock i think

but i think i just wanted to prove him wrong  :oops:  :oops:  :oops:  :razz:  :razz:  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:  :D
