i'd be so happy if spring street became the single. i loved that song from the moment i heard it...but what happened to home. wasn't that supposed to be the next single? plus, as far i as i know, she's never played spring street live, so it hasn't been in any of her shows.

well yeah but you's are being negative towards the success of HOM so far. Sure its been a few weeks that it has been out on the radio but sometimes it just takes a while.

True, maybe it just feels like it has been around a lot longer to us bc we've known it for so long. God I hope it gets popular in time. :)

honestly the rhythm and nananana's are very catchy and i could see someone listening to their radio in their car singing nanananana...or however many their are, its catchy and i like it. so i think it is a good idea to have as a single, and that it is a storybook with a mother, a girl and her daughter growing up and starting their own new life independantly.

I heard Spring Street in HMV when I was buying her CD when it was like, three weeks old.
That's what she said.

It's good that people are hearing the album in general. To be honest, it's kind of pointless if they don't know who sings it, but you know.

haha what can you do?

V's never played Spring Street live at any of her shows, has she?  It would seem to me she would be playing potential singles live to gauge audience reaction.   :?

I find it strange how some people don't see Spring Street as catchy at all. I think it is by far the catchiest song on the album.... I think it is by far the most radio friendly.

Hands On Me was always too abstract & complicated lyrically for my taste as a single and I also felt like NF was too much about being in the music industry and wasn't even that catchy.

But maybe they were playing the entire album...sometimes music shops do that for newish CDs.

Almost as good as walking into a retail shop and hearing "Unsung" 8O I asked
the Department Manager how that was possible, to which he replied "we play
some pretty interesting music here". If only the CD player at work was OK

Spring Street is way too sad for me (in my opinion).

Still a great song, glad to see Vanessa is actually getting out there a little.
