Exactly. Some people won't like what you wear, but you probably won't like how they dress either. Whatever you wear, some people will like it, and others won't. Lots of people get annoyed at people whom they think are obsessed with image, but if they weren't concerned with image themselves, they wouldn't care what other people choose to look like. It takes all kinds to make a world. Also, if you're a model, it's good to stand out and have your own "look" because there's lots of competition and you want to be noticed.

I wasn't really trying to call him gay, I'm just a matter-of-fact, literal, serious person who because of where I live and the experiences I've had here was merely stating what my boundaries are.  Because I run into people who actually fit that description I gave who try to flirt with me.
