USA/CANADA

The difference between USA and CANADA. Compare anything you can think of, share experiences ect. Or, if you're from another country, tell what you think about Canada or USA from what you read about, hear ect.  *Any mean comments of either country will be ignored*

 I'm from Canada, and I went to the US for a vacation in Florida. Some differences: Here, we measure temperature in celcius, but there it was confusing because I had to try to figure out what 81 F meant!! Also, all we could find for milk was jug milk.. and that tasted so different from the bag milk we have here.

I really would not know what to put. I never really hear about anything from Canada on the news and such.

A lot of people I know always go to the US to shop.. but do Americans come to Canada to do the same thing?

none that i know. people in the us usually go to like france or high fashion destinations in europe. or like new york.

My Mother's family is Canadian, so it was neat growing up with food around
the kitchen that would be foreign here. Tourtière is probably what I miss the
most now my folks are in W.A; that or any of my Mom's baked pie pastry  :razz:

Tourtière has been around in this form since 1611, so I guess someone got
the recipe right very early on, or it would never have become so popular  :wink:

I think we do sometimes, mostly in the winter i think cause they fly south ya know? At a park that is close to me there are geese, but idk what kind they are, but they are so aggresive when u feed them bread, we have to stand on the picnic tables so we dont get malled over!
