Dear Ones,

No matter how much time ticks between my notes I am never ever unaware of how luckified I am to have fine peeps such as yourselves care about what I'm up to. Apparently I have been sucked into a vortex of total isolation 4 a while. It was nice for a bit but it feels good to be out of hibernation.  



Ummmm, well, I've been writing lots of intrumental stuff as of late (perhaps a film will find it soon : ) AND a few weeks ago i started writing "proper" songs. An album (whatever that means these days) is sweetly and organically unfolding. Phew.



Over the last year I've collected adventures (sweet, sour and in between) from India, russia, the arctic, mars, the inferno, a few absinthe bars, greenland and a 3 heavenly beaches. Yeah, I suppose I'm looking for something but I'm not quite sure what "something" is yet. I will surely let you know when I find it.  I suppose we're all still waiting on the moon to tell us wassup.  



All existential crisis"sees" aside, all is well. I wish only good things for the ones who read this.




Oh and let us all hail the chief. There is a god afterall.

That was very quick! I love it! Let's hope that she keeps them coming, its so great hearing about what she's been up to. Lol, and I think we are the "luckified" ones to have her beautiful music in our lives.

wonderful, v's really back. :3 i can't wait to hear anything from her new material.

also would love to hear any of v's arrangements in a movie theater, though. :] so many people exposed to her work at once! and just, sound on a scale that i could never achieve at home.

Haven't heard on any news on weather on not shes with the Inc still....if she is no longer with the Inc.  I think it would be silly for her to fish for a new label....thats a lot of jumping around...the word organic sounds nice...sounds like she may just be working on them alone....Hopefully she released something on her own imprint or possibly just a digital release..I think it would suite her better especially with so many labels going down nowadays.

i don't think it was unclear at all. a little rambly, but very vanessa. quirkily poetic in all she pens. :]

and personally, i totally agree with her politically. and i don't think political views are going to harm her. plenty of musicians came out in serious support for obama. and she's rooting for the president - that's practically being patriotic!
