Never heard of the show or the books!  I have free HBO this weekend, maybe I'll check it out.  I love how she is so intelligent. she makes me want to be a better more well read person!

I usually like books better, I think I'll try those first.  They totally ruined the Southern Vampire series (aka Sookie Stackhouse novels, which are not TrueBlood.  It's very hard for me to watch the show because I read all the books, except the most recent one.  I know that they had to make the changes they did and I know Charlaine Harris is okay with the changes, but it's hard for me to go from book mode to TV mode.  I'm constantly saying, that didn't happen like that!  BTW, for whoever watches the show, the totally changed the end of season one from the book.  TOTALLY different!  I stopped watching/wanting to watch.

I watched the show first (GOT) and now I'm reading the books, but a lot (I think all to be honest, haha) of hardcore fans of the books seem to really love the tv show too, and they have changed some details here and there but a lot of scenes are like pretty much the same to the books, dialogue and all :D

But whatever you choose, give them a try! I didn't know anything about this series until last month and now I'm obssessed, hehe

At first I was like ?? I love her sense of humour, I must check out some of this guy's illustrations. It's very V isn't it? In his biography it says something about the film Dark Crystal. Did she quote something or mention that in her previous twitter biography.

yes, she did.  a dark crystal themed party which I posted about being the muppet movie by jim henson (not THE muppets, but muppets).  It's a great story pretty much the hero cycle. it's my husbands favorite movie from his childhood.
I'm loving that pic, lol.  just the right color and shape for victor
