Who's Anne Taylor by the way? I've never heard her name since I don't live in the us.

ann taylor is a(n american) retail store for women's clothing. vanessa is playing a show in one of their nyc locations tonight. also, funnily enough, it's not actually the name of a designer or the founder. just the store.

but enough about that!

i'm so excited for the show tonight and for spring 2011, which makes me wish a little for the title "tall tales for spring" for seasonal appropriateness, but oh well.

Same here. I hope at least a single would be released by the end of the year.

The first single should be either 'I Don't Want to Be A Bride' or 'Carousel'

I agree... Either of the two or "Fair-Weather Friends."

I could see "Bride" being a hit in another time.

I think, depending on its production & promotion, that the song could even make an appearance on the BB chart. It fits the typical pop structure and sounds like something radio would be interested in.

Not that any of that matters, I'm just saying it's one of those songs - only there's substance in this.

I guess "Fair-Weather Friends" would be a better lead-single.
Or the first single will be one we haven't heard yet.
